Strings are three-dimensional lines comprising Nodes.

There are several string tasks:

•Operation Tasks:

oOpen/Close a String

oJoin two Strings

oOffset a String

oDrape a String to a Surface

oExtend a String to a Surface

•Modelling Tasks:

oInterpolate nodes and add them to a Surface

oGenerate toe-nodes and add them to a Surface

oExtract longitudinal sections

oExtract cross sections

oSet the surface slope
