Data Fields

Deposition Path data fields are defined on the:

Data Grid:

oCoordinates that define the Deposition Path:

X-Coordinate Value.

Y-Coordinate value.

Z-Coordinate value.

Deposition Path Data-tab:

oActive: Set deposition active or inactive during a deposition model run.

oMaterial: The Material Index.

oRaise Elevation: The Raise Elevation Index.

oDeposition Order. The order in which deposition will take place relative to other Deposition Vectors.

oElevation Data:

Elevation Offset:

The elevation offset is added to the deposition path elevation when generating deposition points.

This allows you to raise the deposition point above the Deposition Path and/or Deposition Surface.

Maximum Slope:

An option to set the maximum Deposition Vector slope.

If enabled, and the maximum slope exceeds the specified value, Rift TD reduces the deposition elevation using the specified slope.

Minimum Slope:

An option to set the minimum Deposition Vector slope.

If enabled, and the slope is less than the specified value, Rift TD increases the deposition elevation raise using the specified slope.

oExtend to Raise Elevation:

Start Elevation:

oAn option to extend the Deposition Path Start Elevation to the Raise Elevation minimum elevation.

oIf enabled, and the Deposition Path elevation is above the minimum Raise Elevation, the first line segment is extended down to the minimum Raise Elevation.

End Elevation:

oAn option to extend the Deposition Path End Elevation to the Raise Elevation maximum elevation.

oIf enabled, and the maximum Deposition Path elevation is below the maximum Raise Elevation elevation, the last line segment is extended up to the maximum Raise Elevation.

oExtend Path Elevations

Notes

Deposition is limited to:

1.The path minimum and maximum elevations Deposition Path elevations.

2.The Raise Elevation minimum and maximum elevations.
