Model Performance is affected by:

•Surface geometry complexity

•The number of Nodes/Elements: Audit Nodes to increase the Node spacing

•The number of Raises: Decrease the number of Raise Increments

•The number of Deposition Vectors:

oDeposition Nodes: If possible, reduce the number of Deposition Nodes

oDeposition Paths: If possible, reduce the number of Deposition Paths

oDeposition Lines:

▪Increase the Deposition Vector Spacing

▪You can often increase the node spacing without meaningfully affecting results

▪The required node spacing depends on the beach slope, which affects the beach fall between spigot locations

▪Steeper beaches require more closely spaced Deposition Vectors
